Welcome to Highpoint Monmouth

What we're about

Helping people believe in, belong to, and become like Jesus.

Our Monmouth campus began on Easter Sunday in 2020 when a local church joined the Highpoint family. Since then, we’ve continued to grow together as a community centered on knowing Jesus and helping others do the same.

Each Sunday, you’ll hear biblical teaching from Pastor AJ, and worship God together with his people.

Pastor AJ

“This is where we’ll eventually tell you a little about his ministry background, how God led him to Highpoint, and his heart for reaching people in Monmouth and the surrounding community.

This next sentence will probably say something about his passion for teaching God’s Word, helping people grow in their faith, and equipping them to live it out in their everyday lives. We’ll make it sound better once AJ tells us what he actually wants it to say.

And because every pastor bio is legally required to mention his family, AJ and his wife have eight daughters. At least, there were eight the last time we checked. With AJ, we’re not comfortable ruling out the possibility that there are more now.”

Our Mission

We exist to help people believe in, belong to, and become like Jesus.

It starts with having a personal faith in Jesus. Through belief in Jesus, we belong to a part of God’s eternal family and have belonging within the Highpoint family. To become like Jesus is a lifelong process of growing in Christlike character and conduct.

Believe in Jesus

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. – John 1:12

Belong to Jesus

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. – Hebrews 10:24-25

Become like Jesus

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. – Mark 10:45

Our Values

We have identified five values for personal and spiritual growth. The values are more than statements, they influence our personal and ministry priorities.
