Why Give?
There is no better place to invest than in the Kingdom of God. Our hearts are to be focused on investing in God’s eternal purposes, not building our own temporary kingdoms (1 Timothy 6:7). Jesus talked about giving more than any other topic. In the end, giving is about the status of your heart. Luke 12:34 says, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Ways to Give
There are various methods of giving. But more than a method, God is most interested in our manner of giving. We give gratefully for who He is and what He is doing. We give generously because He has been so generous to us – even giving us His Son. And we give gladly as an act of worship.
